Mumbai University – ICA Edu Skills Mega Job Fair 2024
The Mumbai University’s Mega Job Fair 2024, in collaboration with ICA Edu Skills, was a resounding success, providing a platform for aspiring students to connect with leading companies and secure promising career opportunities. The event witnessed an overwhelming response with the number of students’ registrations and participants actively engaging with recruiters. The event also witnessed a bunch of workshops done to bring out the scope of career opportunities in our competitive world.
Objective of Mega Job Fair 2024
The primary objective of this initiative is to address the critical issues of lack of practical knowledge and poor employability among students. By fostering strong industry-academia partnerships, Mumbai University in collaboration with ICA Edu Skills organized this mega job fair event to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the real-world work environment.
A Collaborative Effort to improve Student Employability
This collaboration event between Mumbai University and ICA Edu Skills attracted more than 1800 students across the whole Mumbai region. More than 800 students have participated in the event.

Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta N Pawar, HOD, Commerce Dept., University of Mumbai say “Hi, This is Professor Sangeeta N. Pawar In collaboration with ICA Education Pvt Ltd. It is a wonderful opportunity as we can gather with students all across the whole Mumbai region. The participation has taken place in such a way that 21 companies have participated with 2500 job profiles……..One of the greatest kinds of event we will also get support from the authorities. Placement officer Mr. Chatterjee we have with Ajaz sir in this Job fair……..This event will continue from morning 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 pm. It’s grand success and approachability from the students and the companies.”

Workshops and Interviews in the Mega Job Fair 2024
A wide range of renowned companies participated in the job fair, offering a diverse array of roles across various sectors. 21 leading companies with 2500 open job profiles across different verticals have particpated in this event. 1 to 1 interviews have been conducted where the students can understand what they lack and the companies can understand where is the gap in their education.

The result found was very shocking that not more than most of the students lacks the necessary skills to cater the requirement of companies. In order to cover the gap, more than 190 workshops have been conducted where students are guided about the requirement of necessary skills which they lack in real life.
